2-0 Chromic Gut Sutures are absorbable sutures intended for closing wounds or the approximation or ligation of soft tissues. These sterile sutures measure 27" per pack and are made out of purified collagen-based connective tissues taken from the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines or serosal layers of beef.

They are delivered using the C7 needle with a reverse cutting needlepoint type. Chromic Gut sutures have a resorption rate of 10 to 15 days.
